Today on Ceremony Circle, we’re hanging with a dear friend of mine, Dr. Neeta Bhushan, who just happens to also be releasing one of my favorite books in a while, with the amazing title “That Sucked. Now What?”

Dr. Neeta is a world renowned emotional health advocate and expert in the areas of grit and resilience. She's been featured in Forbes, Entrepreneur, NBC, ABC, CBS and more. Dr. Neeta sold her large million dollar cosmetic dentistry practice to step forward on her own journey to becoming a leader in her field and a voice for immigrant women and women of color. She traveled across 45 countries researching human behavior, ancient eastern philosophy, and therapeutic psychology. She pooled that learning along with other life experiences, which included being orphaned at 19, surviving an abusive marriage and extensive loss. This all contributed to the powerful message of resilience and grit that we are so blessed to dive into today.

Top 5 Things You’ll Learn from This Episode

  1. How she was able to stay out of competing in the “trauma Olympics” and escape getting caught in victim mentality

  2. Her unique and powerful definitions of not just resilience, but also what it means to be audaciously resilient

  3. The power of embracing our humanness and why it's actually vital to go out and suck at something

  4. What her signature “fly forward” method is, and how it can transform your suckiest life moments into spiritually awakening ones

  5. How to locate the magic or medicine in the mess, or even the joy and the chaos

Make sure to stick around for our closing Ceremony Circle practice: Neeta helps you to self-regulate and find your center and power within just a few minutes when you're in the midst of something challenging.
