Opening To New Possibilities: What Happens When "Ferocious" Animals Are Met With Oneness & An Open Heart-Space
I have always been a nature and animal lover and have always marveled at the amazing magic that animals provide to our world. From the distinctly unique characteristics and traits of the zebra’s stripes, to the vibrant color of the flamingo, to the interesting trunk of the elephant that seems to have a life of its own, to the mysterious beauty of the black panther- the color, power and personalities of animals truly makes our planet “pop” with life and fascination, which is why I was so drawn to Gaiam TV’s The Tiger and The Monk as it combines my adoration of animals with my boundless curiosity of ancient cultures and traditions.
Where Tigers Outnumber Monks
You will witness some extremely rare finds, as we are given access to the only Buddhist temple in the world that has tigers as house-pets, frolicking beautifully on the temple’s forest grounds with no chains and no history of anyone ever being hurt. And don’t let the documentary title fool you,

My mom recently came to NYC for a visit and we had a blast. NYC undoubtedly boasts some of the top museums in the world but I want to share with you a hidden gem - the Brooklyn Museum! It was at the top of the list for places we wanted to explore and although this was not my first time to the Brooklyn Museum, it never disappoints.
The museum has five stories, an enriching mixture of exhibits, the layout is great and easy to navigate, it feels fresh, vibrant and clean and it's simply a blast to check out!
Some of my fav spots are the
Fort Tilden is located on Far Rockaway Beach Blvd. NY, NY and is part of Gateway National Recreation Area. Whats makes this beach crazy unique is that it offers a mixture of decommissioned military structures, natural areas, beautiful beaches (un-lifeguarded), trails, fishing, surfing, and more.
Fort Tilden was established during WWI in 1917 and remained an Army installation until 1974 when it was decommissioned and turned over to the National Park Service. What's super awesome is that
